The premium culinary series returns to Kura Revolving Sushi Bar restaurants for a limited time with flavors that bring warmth and balance to the season
Irvine, CA (RestaurantNews.com) Kura Sushi USA, Inc., the nation’s largest brand of revolving sushi restaurants, announces the debut of four limited-time menu items that highlight the rich, delicate flavors of flame-seared black cod (sablefish) and authentic Japanese Anago (saltwater eel). This Kura Reserve menu features ingredients at their seasonal peak and will be available at participating Kura Revolving Sushi Bar locations this Friday through Sept. 24, while supplies last.
Savor Dishes with Refined Expressions of Umami:
- Seared Teriyaki Black Cod (Sablefish): Delight in the delicate, buttery texture of black cod from Alaska. Seared to perfection, each slice is marinated with a teriyaki glaze over Kura specialty rice, topped with green onion.
- Edo-Style Anago (Saltwater Eel): Melt-in-your-mouth saltwater eel prepared in the traditional Edo-style. Each tender cut is seared, bathed in our house-made anago sauce, and layered over Kura specialty rice.
- Seared Miso Jalapeño Black Cod Roll: Buttery Alaskan black cod seared and wrapped alongside avocado, cucumber, and pickled carrot. Miso mayo and marinated jalapeño top the refreshing roll for a balance of savory and spice.
- Seared Anago Roll: Saltwater eel lightly seared and paired with fluffy tamago, crisp cucumber, and bright yuzu pepper in a roll rich in umami flavor, drizzled in eel sauce.

Complementing this limited-time menu are Seared Miso Honey Cheesecake – a classic and creamy slice of New York Cheesecake elevated by a drizzle of sweet miso honey topped with a sprinkling of almond crunch, and Kura Reserve Standard nigiri sushi favorites Bluefin Tuna Otoro – tender bluefin tuna belly and Kumamoto Wagyu* – marbled Japanese wagyu beef topped with garlic chips.
