A former restaurant manager who underpaid migrant workers at a Queensland island resort has been ordered to pay $113,000.

It is the third time Jia Ning Wang, the former manager of Fire & Stone restaurant at Moreton Island’s Tangalooma Island Resort, has been penalised for underpaying staff.
Fair Work Ombudsman Sandra Parker said in a statement on Monday it was disappointing the regulator had to repeatedly take action against Wang to enforce workplace laws.
