I eat. I shoot. And I will show you how, my way.
When I started this food blog back in 2008, it was all just a bit of fun by capturing my gastronomic journey in Sydney and around the world through photography. And I’m sure I am not the only one with the same passion based on the sudden growth of food blogs in Australia just within the last two years alone.
There are already a lot of great food blogs in Australia with extensive restaurant reviews, amazing recipes; and for me, the only thing that I can do best to compensate my pedestrian writing skills is my food photography. I thank you all for keep reading my blog and drool over my photos and still coming back for more. Slowly readers’ admiration becomes questions, I started receiving comments and emails asking me about my photos and here are some questions that I am sure we are all too familiar with:
- “What camera and lens do you use?”
- “It’s so dark inside the restaurant, how come your photos still turned out so sharp and bright?”
- “Why my photos from restaurant are always so yellow?”
- “Do you use flash when you take photos in the restaurant?”
- “What program do you use to edit your photos?”
- “How to make my photos blog and search engine friendly?”
Don’t worry, I will show you. Come and join me for an intimate food photography workshop and enjoy an exquisite lunch at MUMU Grill.

I will be running two food photography workshops on the 17th & 24th April 2010, held at the exclusive private dining room at MUMU Grill in Crows Nest. These classes are designed for foodies, food bloggers or simply anyone who wants to take better food photos that are drool-worthy.
In this 3 hour intimate food photography workshop, we will cover some basic techniques on how to use your digital cameras, sharing tips on how to take photos in restaurants, step-by-step demonstration on how to bring your photos to life from camera to blog on a big projector screen! And also, how to make your images blog-ready and search engine friendly. The class is limit to maximum of 15 attendees only, so it will be intimate but casual, informative and plenty of personal attention.

During the course of the workshop, you will also be joining me for an exquisite lunch prepared by chef Craig Macindoe. The lunch is covered in the cost of the workshop, WIN WIN! So, make sure you bring your cameras along as we will have some hands on practice on the dishes that day!
