Hi Billy,

Be sure to try "Fish Amok" in cambodia, and if your brave enough "Jrouk Bahok" (cambodia's special salsa) which is like a cambodian style super spicy chimichurri with fermented fish, fresh herbs, garlic, lemon juice and lots of smoked chillies it's gold with bbq meats and seafood.

keep up the great work!

hi,
my husband and i just came back from living in Ho Chi Minh Cityfor 2 years and i am vietnamese by heritage so eat with a very discerning palate!
My most favourite favourite places to eat include

"Lang Nuong Nam Bo" for the best baby suckling pig ever - there are 2 but i can only remember one address 367 Cach Mang Thang 8, District 10.
"Minh Duc" - excellent standard Vietnamese food, canteen style
100 Ton That Tung, District 1

and for the bestest Vietnamese pork chop with rice, there is a street stall on a a street named Dinh Tien Hoang, you head out of District 1 on that street towards Binh Thanh District. Once you've crossed the bridge it's about 500m on the left, you'll see lots of plastic tables and chairs set up in front of a school and smell the meat cooking on coals before you see it

ooh and also on that street is the lady who sells the best Vietnamese pork rolls, you'll pass her on the way to the pork chop! she has a light box sign, on her stand, and i think it's called "Lan something"

and if you go to Nha Trang, eat the seafood that's grilled on the street, not in restaurants!
So many places to eat, am hungry just thinking about it! You're trip sounds amazing, i had the best two years eating of my life over there so hope is the same for you, happy munching! x
