I know that this is an old entry, but it amused me so much, that I have to comment on it!

I’m watching Masterchef S3 atm, and that’s where I got your blog address. You seem like such a nice, friendly and talented person!

I’m from Norway, so Sweden is just “arond the corner” – you know, the Nordic countries are quite small. Even though we have got much of the same ingredients, like seafood, there are several differences between the Norwegian and the Swedish cuisine.

Aside from the typical Norwegian food, we eat lots of Italian, Spanish and French food her.

The meatballs that they’ve got at IKEA, are quite tasty, indeed! But ever since I got allergic to dairy and gluten, I can’t eat this kind of mass produced food.

I haven’t browsed through your old entries yet, so I don’t know all the sorts of food that you’ve made, but maybe you could dish up some allergy friendly food?

@chocolatesuze: No, I think I can manage a big pot to your next housewarming! We can ask Dave to come along no?
@Simon: You can go and try the Assam Laksa at Malay Chinese in town, but they only do it on certain day of the week. Make sure check the timetable on their website.

@Karen: I can’t count you in for assam laksa since your mum keeps making it for you and we all never get invited! NOT FAIR!

Yeah, guess the shot wouldn’t have worked as nicely with gravy and I don’t think I’d be so crazy as to scrape off all to gravy off the plate just for the sake of a shot!

Assam laksa sounds nice. Never had it before but the mere mention of it seems to trigger a pavlovian reaction.
