How to fold Fortune Cookie

A few people have asked me how to fold the fortune cookie, hence I drew up a step-by-step diagram to show you how to fold it.
Preparations: The fortune cookie is very soft and hot when is out of the oven, so please wear glove on one hand so you don’t burn yourself. And you always need a bowl or cup with sharp rim.
1. Place a fortune in the center of the cookie. The fortune should be around 8 cm long x 1 cm wide. And then…
2. Fold the fortune in half. DO NOT FLATTEN IT!!! and thennn…
3. Lift it up on both pointy edges, and thennn…
4. Gently pull the edges downward over the rim of a glass or a bowl. Annnd thennn…
5. gentle pull both edges towards each other. Annnnd thennnn….
6. Put it inside a very narrow glass to hold its shape while cooling down.
There you have it. Happy Folding!

Oh, that is great! I just went to a (very late) CNY celebration, and one girl bought some homemade fortune cookies. Unfortunately they had softened and tasked pretty flabby (it was raining). I didn’t get a chance to ask her how she made them, but now I know!
PS: Beautiful blog!
