RestaurantData Expands Restaurant Enterprise Index to 150 Company Profiles

Fifty additions broaden public coverage of restaurant brands, franchise operators and ownership groups across the United States and Canada.

RestaurantData has expanded its Restaurant Enterprise Index™ to 150 company profiles, adding 50 since the 100-company release reported by RestaurantNews.com on September 2. The public research follows restaurant brands, parent organizations, franchisors, franchise groups and multi-concept operators across the United States and Canada.

The additions include Krispy Krunchy Chicken, Dutch Bros Coffee, 7 Brew Coffee, CAVA, Shake Shack and Dave’s Hot Chicken, along with operators and ownership groups such as Ampler QSR, Charter Foods, Savory Fund and WKS Restaurant Group.

Understanding the Organization Behind the Brand

A restaurant brand may operate independently, belong to a larger parent company or have locations managed by separate franchise operators. The REI organizes those relationships so suppliers, technology companies, investors and researchers can better understand which organizations own brands and which operate restaurants.

The index allows readers to search companies and filter by service type and primary cuisine. Company profiles provide business summaries and estimated scale, with ownership relationships displayed where established. The expanded coverage includes recognizable consumer brands and operating groups that may be less familiar to restaurant guests.

Profile Review Dates Make Research Timing Visible

REI profiles now display a “Profile reviewed” date so readers can see when RestaurantData most recently reviewed the profile. The date helps readers assess research currency as company structures and operating information change. Individual figures may draw on different source periods; a profile review date does not mean every figure measures activity in that month.

How the Profiles Are Developed

RestaurantData develops profiles using corporate disclosures, franchise documentation, public filings, company websites, location research and proprietary verification. Location totals are estimates. Parent organizations and their brands may appear as separate entries, and their locations can overlap.
