Start the day with a hot bowl of Pho (pronounce – fur), then have a wander around the wet market and sample local delicacies. Spend the morning learning how to cook traditional Vietnamese cuisine at the hands-on cooking class. Then sit back and enjoy a scrumptious lunch in the tranquil lush garden. Relax by the pool with a cocktail in the afternoon or go for a shopping spree. If this sounds like a dream vacation, then I have exciting news for you!
I am very excited to announce that I will be hosting a Vietnam Food & Photography Tour in 2015!
I hosted my first culinary tour to Malaysia back in 2012 (check out the video here) and it was a total blast! We ate, cooked, learnt and laughed; not to mention the impromptu karaoke session and the dancing in the hotel lobby after way too many drinks! (There is video footage somewhere of our silliness, but no, you are not going to see it!) I had such great time sharing a memorable trip with a group of like-minded people who love food and travel just as much as I do, that’s why I have decided to run another epic food tour next year, to a country that I am deeply fond of – Vietnam.
During this trip, I will show you the ‘real’ Vietnam, away from tourist trail, tasting some of the best food this country has to offer. We will travel through a diverse range of dramatic landscapes from north to south, exploring each region’s unique and rich culture, traditions and of course, the delicious food. It will be a full sensory experience every day.
This is a tailor-made tour that I have personally put together as I want my guests to have the best experience possible. I am very confident that you will never find another tour that is as comprehensive and as reasonably priced as this one. You have no idea how much stuff I tried to squeeze into one trip! Trust an Asian to plan a trip, totally value for money! LOL! I like to keep my group small and personal with no more than 10 guests. I strongly believe that every guest deserves the best service on this trip – the tour is all about you, having a great time. For the food lovers, there will be three hands-on cooking classes where we will learn how to cook authentic Vietnamese cuisine from three different regions. Apart from sharing a gastronomic journey together, it will be a great opportunity to hone your photographic skills. I will inspire you and be ready to offer advice and support on any photography topics you may have, so that you can also capture the natural beauty of this country in no time.
I hope you are as excited as I am about this tour. To find out more about the itinerary, dates, cost and everything else you need to know, please click on the link below:
Here is a photo gallery taken from my visits to Vietnam, it offers a glimpse of what you can expect from the tour. I can’t wait to be back to this beautiful country and I look forward to sharing this epic gastronomic journey with you.
