Lights up happily ever after…
If you are planning to go and check out the Christmas lights spectacular at Hunter Valley Gardens, then look away now as I do not want to spoil all the surprises for you in this post. Christmas Lights Spectacular is now in its seventh year and it is getting bigger and better, with over 1.5 millions christmas lights in total. We have heard lots of good things about this show from many people, including our dog’s nanny, who goes to see the light show every year. This year we finally made an effort and went up to Hunter Valley to check out the Christmas lights, and it was well worth the trip. It was simply… how shall I put it? That’s right, SPECTACULAR!
Almost the whole Hunter Valley Gardens is lit up with Christmas lights, every garden has its own theme, from Australiana, Jurassic dinosaurs, Cinderella with the pumpkin carriage, a musical light show of “12 days of Christmas”, then there is also an indoor marquee with lighting dance floor, and also gingerbread house competition. Seriously it took us 2 hours to check out all the light show and absolutely well worth the $22.50 entry fee.
Here are some of the photos I’ve taken from the Christmas lights spectacular.
Are you ready? Let’s the light show begin!
