Food photography workshops in a city near you!

Hello everyone! Just a quick update, thank you everyone for coming to my food photography workshops in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in the last couple of months and hopefully you all learned something from it and enjoyed the workshop as much as I hosting them. For those who are interested in registering for future workshops, unfortunately you will have to wait for a little longer as I am currently working on new format for the workshops. I will announce the new workshops as soon as I have them organised! So stay tuned!

Food Photography Workshop – For Beginners

I am sure we are all too familiar with these questions:

  • “What camera and lens do I need?”
  • “It’s so dark inside the restaurant, how come your photos still turned out so sharp and bright?”
  • “Why my photos from restaurant are always so yellow?”
  • “Do you use flash when you take photos in the restaurant?”
  • “What program do you use to edit your photos?”
  • “How to make my photos blog and search engine friendly?”

Don’t worry, I will show you how.

In this 3.5 hour intimate food photography workshop – for beginners, we will cover some basic techniques on how to use your digital cameras, I will show you how to achieve the best result from the camera you have, DSLR or compact cameras. You will learn about the basic of composition, how to control white balance, and post processing in Adobe Lightroom software to bring the image to life. The class is limit to maximum of 15 attendees only, so it will be intimate but casual, informative and plenty of personal attention.

During the course of the workshop, you will also be joining me for an exquisite lunch. The lunch is covered in the cost of the workshop, WIN WIN! So, make sure you bring your cameras along as we will have some hands on practice on the dishes that day! Please be mindful that the class usually runs a little longer, especially once we are sitting down having lunch together with a glass of wine and start mingling, no one wants to leave!
