Postcard from Cambodia video log
I haven’t post a video log for a long time, and last night I finally managed to dig out some old travel footage I shot during my vacation in Cambodia and compiled into this little video. Gosh, I almost forgot how much I love editing video. Food photography is always my favourite, but have to say video editing is a whole new level of awesomeness. I definitely need to start shooting more videos. Don’t worry, more videos from Laos, Malaysia and New Zealand to come!
Happy voting & Happy Saturday! Eat well and prosper.

Nice, I love short video’s about travel trips! Last months I also opted to do video updates instead of long blogposts and people where really enthousiastic. My style is a bit different from yours but I also got some great ideas in your movie!
So now the videogeek question: what camera do you use and how do you edit them on the read?
HI Martijn, thanks for the comment. I used my Canon 5DmkII, with a normal 50mm f1.4 lens and shot in HD. I use Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, just the software I am familiar with.
Ah, that makes sense! I wondered how you got such great depth-of-focus and shooting with a dSLR explains that. What are your experiences with shooting film with that camera on your travels? I don;t take my dSLR with me anymore because it’s to bulky and cumbersome.
I love it, so easy and i can do both video and photos in one camera. what more could you ask for?
LOVE IT!

Finally managed to catch this. Some great scenes. I find it hard enough looking for photographic moments to capture – the sound and movement does add another dimension to your travel memories. Awesome job
