depends on where you are. Vegetable oil is to stop the chocolate solidified too quick, especially during winter time. The oil makes it more pliable and also gives it a sheen. I used canola oil, it works fine.

just wanted to ask is it necessary to add the oil…would it make that much of a difference if i dont add it? also, if it is necessary then which oil would be best?

I’m like the Pom. Could eat a whole bag of plain marshmallow no problem. BUT these look even more divine. Paired with some crunch and some extra cocoa sweetness, they would be irresitable.

Oh, and I’ve already got my entire baking list for Christmas underway. So no, not wrong at all to be thinking ahead. Well, that’s what I like to tell myself anyway!
