A bargain day

L to R: Black Forest in a cup, Chocolate Mud, Tiramisu

I love a good bargain on Saturday. Today as usual I spent my afternoon at Erina Fair for lunch, spotted a cafe having an offer, 4 desserts of any kind for only $10. After much pondering, we decided to grab 2 tiramisu, 1 black forrest, and a chocolate mud cake. Looking forward to a nice cup of tea, and a slice of cake this afternoon.

Top-down : My Rolleiflex TLR camera; Yoshoku - Japanese food western style; Tempted - 150 wicked desserts; Roadside Japan - Tourist spots in Japan that off-off-beaten tracks.

Another bargain I scored today is some cookery books. The QBD at Erina Fair is having big sale on most of their cookery books. To tell you the truth, as much as I love food, I actually only owned one cookbook, which was given to me as a gift when I had my Australian citizenship. Usually cook books are very expensive, and also way too many options to choose from. As I love Japanese food very much, so I decided that I want to learn more about Japanese culinary, and bought a book called Yoshuko: Japanese food western style by Jane Lawson. Another book I bought is called Tempted : 150 very wicked desserts. 150 delicious dessert recipes, and with yummy-licious pictures inside, I can’t really go past the $10 offer.

Thanks Peter for dropping by! I have to say the dessert is so-so. But the books are definitely bargain, just there are so many to choose from. I might go back soon-ish to grab a few more.
