Tuna and mixed nuts salad

As much as I like to eat out and trying new things, and the expandable waist ain’t helping, so is best to stick to the diet and have a healthy salad for lunch instead. This is part of a diet given by a persona trainer. A very simple, healthy, tuna with mixed nuts salad.

All you need is a bag of salad mix, some tiny roma cherry tomatoes slided in half, chopped some red chilli for bit of kick, and roasted some mixed nuts. It is very important to roast the mixed nuts, because raw nuts are usually quite bland and not very crunchy. By roasting them, it will release the nutty aroma, and is a lot more crunchy once cool down. Toss them together, and drizzle with some extra virgin olive oil, pinch of salt and pepper… voila! Also you can add some fried chopped garlic, with Balsemic Vinegar.

Everyone should eat healthy once a while, so you can enjoy the yummy food out there with no guilt. ^_^
